2nd Annual Gordner/Brightbill Kids' Expo Scheduled

(MILLERSBURG) - - Senator John R. Gordner (R-27) and Senate Majority Leader David J. Brightbill (R-48) are pleased to announce their second annual Kids' Expo will be held June 11. The Kids' Expo will be held from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Grace United Methodist Church at 982 Medical Road in Millersburg.

The Senators said the event will feature a wide array of exhibitors offering information on state, county and community programs of interest to constituents.

"Last year's Kids' Expo was a big success, and we're thrilled to again be able host this educational and entertaining event," said Senator Gordner.  "Kids' Expos are a fun way for parents to get information on valuable programs while their children are entertained and educated by the exhibitors."

Designed for the entire family, the Kids' Expo will feature a variety of services and educational programs available from state and local agencies.  The Expo will also feature games and appearances by ZOOAMERICA Wildlife Park, the Millersburg Tall Cedars Clowns, the Harrisburg Senators' Rascal mascot and Mothman.

"Last year, we had hundreds of children attend for a fun filled day, and the parents who attended the event asked us to continue the Kids' Expo," said Senator Brightbill.  "It's a great family event and we're pleased to have the opportunity to provide this service."

Senators Gordner and Brightbill said many local groups and businesses are supporting the event, which is free and open to the public.
